40 years away from first moon landing

July 21, 2009 at 2:53 pm (Anything, Humor) (, , , , , )

Hey hey! well we are now 40 years from the first moon landing, which is still in a debate between people who think it really didn’t happen.

I don’t know what to say either. There are good arguments for both sides (those who say it happened and those who say it didn’t). It could probably be just a big fraude or one of the most important achievements of human kind though his known history. I personally want to believe it happened. It’s just amazing the era we live in. For thousands upon thousands of years human kind has been inspired by our natural satellite which nowadays is closer than ever.

Well, its up to you to believe this or not. But why not add some humor to this? Ever heard about the theory that says the moon landing was filmed on a set in Hollywood? Check out the first video. The second vid is my favorite; why did men didn’t came back from the moon? Hehe, watch and learn. Enjoy! 😀

Michael Jackson burning down the stage

July 16, 2009 at 4:29 pm (Anything) (, , )

Hey hey bloggers! Well, after 25 years this video was finally released; the video of the accident Michael Jackson had when burned filming a commercial for PEPSI cola.

Its kinda funny the first time you watch it. It could be more laughable if it had been shown before the death of MJ. Anyway its worth some laughs the turns and spins he does while his hair is on fire and eventually he gets tackled by a dozen people stomping on his head.

Well, for all you out there, the truth about MJ’s accident 25 years ago.

My Führer, you’re so damn right

July 15, 2009 at 4:10 pm (Anything, Humor, Sports) (, , , , )

Hey hey bloggers! Well I know some of you may not know spanish, not to mention mexican spanish. But if you do, well you will most certainly like this vid.

As some of my fellow comrades may know, the mexican soccer team, our “best of the best” players of Mexico are just a shame. What this Hitler says is just the pure and simple truth, nothing else.

Even the sub-17 selection of the Seychelles Islands is a potential threat for us. Damn we’re so down. Well it is very funny anyway. Enjoy!

Bip Bup Bit Bit Baaap (Translation: welcome Roboneiros!)

July 13, 2009 at 3:19 pm (Congrats) (, , , , )

Hey hey bloggers! Well As you’ve probably already noticed, and for you who haven’t noticed, we welcome a new member to the Indie-Retro staff: Roboneiros.

Roboneiros is a close friend of mine and of some other members of the staff. He is a very nice guy, eager to write for the blog and dreams on becoming a real human.

After denying his true aluminum and steel soul, he traveled far to continue his studies on human life forms and other knowledge with which he will be able to camouflage as a normal human being, going through life fixing calculators by talking to them.

Hehe, just kidding. Expect some really nice posts from this guy. From all Indie Retro staff, welcome to the team Roboneiros!

(He may actually look like this under his sinthetic skin, we’re still trying to figure it out).

Retro-Time Attacks

July 13, 2009 at 2:45 pm (Retro, Video Games) (, , , )

Hey people from Indie-retro I’m a new addition to this blog. Now I’ve got my glasses back I can begin writing for you. Expect retro thingies and some reviews especially book-reviews and some random blogging from me. So let’s get this post done.

I hope most of you had a childhood full of video games just as I did. And the games I love the most form my days of early gaming are the first three installments of the Super Mario Bros. Series. And I remember it took me a lot of time and effort to finish any of those games. So when several years ago I found out about the time attack videos of these games I went crazy. I write this post with the idea of remembering those games and their time attacks, of course I did none of them I just took them from youtube and I’m not even sure that they are the fastest time attacks.

Super Mario Bros.

Super Mario Bros. 2

Super Mario Bros. 3

I hope you liked them. Please comment.

Alien discrmination

July 13, 2009 at 10:23 am (1)

Hi guys! anothe movie trailer update…

Well, what about aliens?? We seem to have exploited every possible idea for movies with them. We’ve seen aliens coming to attack earth in countless films…aliens that agressive to humans when we travel to other worlds, monsters from outer space, and even movies where humans openly invade other planets…seem’s like every aspect has been used.

However, what about runaways aliens coming to earth for refuge and being discriminated by humans like any other social group??? This summer District 9 is coming out, based on a shortfilm wich came out some years ago. I don’t remeber an idea quite like this one…seems interesting.

Could be great…could be terrible, let’s hope it is the first one…

here is the original short film that the movie is based on.
