Ok now, when I first heard of the teaser trailer I was really excited to hear this game was already under development. Last week I believe or a couple of days ago, rumors that some game details were leaked became very strong. Still, some of these wait to be confirmed but finally, the very first trailer of the game was released.

The game takes place during Renaissance – Italy. Our new hero assassin’s name is Enzio Auditore de Firenze, child of a noble family which he loses due to conflicts between families. Supposely this character will be able to use a larger set op wepons, like a hammer, two types of swords, two mini blades, maces, axes and a halberd.

Among the new activities that can be performed in the game, Enzio will now be ablo to swim, besides the already known and improved climbing and horse riding. It is said that there will be a time where the character will be able to fly using Da Vinci’s flying machine. There will be now 16 types of missions, but two of the original Assassin’s Creed will be dismissed; eavesdropping and pickpocketing. Also, day and night cycles will be included.

Some details which I found quite interesting are the appearances of historical characters and landmarks such as Da Vinci’s workshop, Caterina Sforza, Niccolo Machiavelli and Lorenzo de Médici, which is said to be object of an assassination attempt.

However, Game Informer Magazine will confirm factually all these rumors and more on its upcomming May issue. I guess we’ll have to wait for it to learn more about this great sequel.

Here is the first video of the game. Enjoy!
